About the Role
We are seeking a Tech Lead – Software Development Engineer to lead and contribute to high-impact projects across our technology stack. This role will involve hands-on software development, system design, and cluster management with ownership of critical infrastructure components such as Altair and Noah clusters. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, reliable, and efficient software solutions, while mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and implementation of software solutions across Flipkart’s platforms.
- Manage and optimize the Altair and Noah clusters.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and best practices in software development.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers to elevate team technical capabilities.
- Take ownership of end-to-end delivery of assigned modules and projects.
Required Skills
- Strong programming skills and experience with MySQL and backend systems.
- Proven ability to own and deliver high-impact technical projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a bias for action and ownership mindset.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in Golang or Java.
- Prior experience with distributed systems and large-scale cluster management.
