About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Edge DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in deploying, automating, and managing applications across edge computing environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure DevOps, Ansible, Bash scripting, and container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (including K3s/MicroK8s). This role involves building and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance DevOps solutions for industrial IoT edge systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for edge deployments.
  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for provisioning, configuration, and updates.
  • Write Bash scripts to automate operational workflows and recurring DevOps tasks.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and deploy with Kubernetes (K8s, K3s, MicroK8s).
  • Ensure high availability, security, and low-latency performance across distributed edge systems.
  • Implement centralized monitoring and logging using Grafana and related tools.
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate DevSecOps best practices into release cycles.
  • Troubleshoot distributed systems and edge nodes with limited connectivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–8 years total experience; 4+ years hands-on with Azure DevOps.
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, Repos, and Artifacts.
  • Proven expertise in Ansible playbook development and Bash scripting.
  • Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, K3s, MicroK8s.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux, networking, and security principles.
  • Experience in edge compute deployments or distributed IoT environments.
  • Familiarity with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform a plus).
  • Certifications preferred: AZ-400, AZ-104, AZ-900, CKA.

  • Cloud Solution Architecture (Azure / AWS)
  • ThingWorx Edge MicroServer
  • Docker, Edge AI-MLOps, Cloud Architecture

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Industrial IoT, MLOps, or Edge AI projects.
  • Familiarity with AR/VR/MR and other immersive industrial technologies.
  • Exposure to Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or ELK Stack for edge observability.
