Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader – Finance who can lead financial reporting, reconciliation activities, and monthly management submissions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, excellent knowledge of accounting principles, and experience guiding a finance team toward accurate and timely deliverables. This role requires strong attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced reconciliations and prepare monthly financial deliverables for management.
  • Conduct ratio analysis, logical checks, and data testing in the General Ledger (GL) to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage monthly financial submissions into Hyperion / Essbase.
  • Complete all assigned tasks within deadlines, ensuring accuracy and client-specific requirements.
  • Update the work allocation matrix and prepare monthly KPI metrics.
  • Escalate unresolved or pending issues to senior management when required.
  • Ensure adherence to information security, internal controls, and compliance guidelines.
  • Rectify errors related to reversals and re-entries.
  • Perform GL reconciliation of all balance sheet items.

Required Qualifications

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA in Finance.
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience in financial reconciliations, GL accounting, and financial statement review.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial processes.
  • Experience working with Hyperion, Essbase, or similar financial systems is an advantage.

  • Team handling and people management experience.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and validate data quickly.
  • Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
