Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled ServiceNow Specialist – Package Implementation to lead development, integrations, and custom application building on the NOW platform. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on scripting skills, deep platform knowledge, and the ability to design and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions while staying updated with platform upgrades and best practices.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • 9+ years of overall industry experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of strong, hands-on experience in ServiceNow.
  • 3+ years of ServiceNow platform development experience.
  • 2+ years of integrations experience using REST APIs and related technologies.
  • 2+ years of Custom Application Development on ServiceNow.
  • Strong ability to write optimized, efficient code using JavaScript or equivalent ServiceNow scripting.
  • Must be hands-on and able to independently write/modify code.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stay updated with ServiceNow platform upgrades, new features, and best practices.

Good to Have

  • Experience with ServiceNow Portal.
  • Hands-on work with UI Builder.
  • Exposure to ServiceNow Performance Analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST APIs and related technologies.
  • Analyze business needs and translate them into technical designs or functional solutions.
  • Ensure high-quality coding standards and maintain platform integrity.
  • Maintain awareness of platform version changes and upgrade impacts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
  • Participate in special projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
