Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Support Engineer (Axway, Apigee) to provide L2 and L3 support for A2A API Gateways and B2Bi applications. This role focuses on maintaining high availability of Axway and Apigee platforms, ensuring seamless API operations and B2Bi integrations. You will work closely with business users, development teams, backend/frontend teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure issue-free application processing and timely resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 support for A2A API Gateway and B2Bi applications (Axway, Apigee).
  • Ensure 99%+ uptime and smooth functioning of API and B2Bi integrations.
  • Work closely with business users and technical teams to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Monitor application health, performance, and processing flows.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve system issues within defined SLAs.
  • Handle incidents, service requests, and escalation management.
  • Support API connectivity, communication channels, and secure transmission protocols.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
  • Maintain system logs, audit trails, and platform-specific documentation.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Google API (Apigee)
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Axway B2Bi
  • Axway Policy Studio
  • Minimum 5+ years in service/application support, preferably enterprise-level.
  • Strong understanding of connectivity protocols:

    API, AS2, FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS, MQ/Middleware
  • Good knowledge of SQL (support/user-level queries).
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux and shell scripting.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP architecture.
  • Understanding of public key cryptography, secure connectivity, certificate handling.
