Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Design Engineer responsible for circuit design, prototyping, validation, and supporting EMI/EMC compliance for industrial electronic products. The role requires strong hands-on hardware design skills, testing capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and understand technical requirements, provide design inputs, and prepare documentation.
  • Create hardware designs, prototyping plans, and execute proto builds for engineering validation.
  • Prepare test plans covering testing levels, timelines, risks, and validation strategy.
  • Develop detailed test scenarios, test cases, and gather test data.
  • Apply knowledge of EMI/EMC standards (61000x, 61326, NAMUR) in design and testing.
  • Draw schematics and coordinate with PCB layout engineers.
  • Simulate circuits using LTSpice or similar tools.
  • Prepare BOMs, manage component procurement, and support prototype verification (functional, thermal, environmental).
  • Assist in EMC validation, troubleshooting, and design improvements.
  • Use lab equipment like DSO, MSO, Differential Amplifiers, etc.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with EMI/EMC filter design (Power + I/O).
  • Experience with digital/analog circuit design and microcontroller-based board design.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication interfaces (RS485, Modbus, Ethernet, UART, SPI, I2C).
  • Basic understanding of power supply design (Buck/Boost converters).
  • Ability to work with global teams and flexible time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6–9 years of direct hardware design, development, and validation experience.
  • Proven record of successful product development in industrial electronics.
