Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced GCP QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in BigQuery, Dataform, Pub/Sub, Python, and cloud-based data pipeline testing. The ideal candidate must have deep knowledge of automation testing, scalable data validation, ETL/ELT testing, and cloud-native test execution on GCP.
Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)
- Expert-level Selenium automation and ability to handle scenario-based automation challenges.
- BigQuery
- Pub/Sub
- Dataform
- Strong Python-based scripting for test automation.
- Experience testing scalable data pipelines on the GCP ecosystem.
- Strong experience in ETL/ELT testing.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end QA testing for data pipelines deployed on Google Cloud Platform.
- Create, maintain, and execute Selenium-based automation frameworks.
- Develop Python automation scripts for validation, workflow tests, and pipeline verification.
- Validate complex data transformations, ingestion workflows, and event-driven systems using Pub/Sub.
- Execute SQL-based validations and data quality checks in BigQuery.
- Test Dataform workflows, dependencies, models, and data lineage.
- Work within CI/CD pipelines and adopt test-driven development practices.
- Perform performance testing and large-scale data validation.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, developers, and business teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Leverage AI/advanced tools to accelerate test execution and automation (nice to have).
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Prior experience in QA for data platforms, distributed systems, or cloud-native applications.
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools and cloud-native test frameworks.
