Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Azure-based data solutions, and modern development practices. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in T-SQL, C#/.NET, and cloud database engineering, along with exposure to CI/CD and microservices-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize database solutions using MS SQL Server and Azure SQL.
- Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and XML-based logic.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate database components into C#/.NET applications.
- Contribute to cloud migration initiatives, including database modernization.
- Support API-driven architectures through strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Maintain source code and versioning practices using Git and Visual Studio.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of database systems in cloud and hybrid environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- Deep expertise in MS SQL Server (T-SQL, XML, performance tuning).
- Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET and Azure SQL development.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices—CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code quality standards.
- Experience working with REST APIs and microservices-based systems.
- Proficiency with Git and Visual Studio for collaborative development.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Oracle database environments.
- Exposure to BizTalk, especially around cloud migration initiatives.
