Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in PKI design, implementation, and operations
- Strong expertise in cryptographic concepts: RSA, ECC, AES Protocols: TLS/SSL, X.509, S/MIME, OCSP
- Proficiency with PKI tools: Microsoft AD CS, EJBCA, OpenSSL, HSMs ,Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, Bash
- Experience with cloud PKI: Azure Key Vault, AWS KMS, Google Cloud KMS
- Secondary (Good to Have): MS DLP
Key Responsibilities (Simplified – 5 Points)
- Design and implement secure enterprise PKI architectures, including Root/Sub CAs, HSMs, OCSP, and certificate lifecycle processes.
- Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft PKI solutions (on-prem and Azure) and resolve complex PKI issues.
- Integrate PKI with enterprise systems such as IAM, AD, MDM, SIEM, cloud platforms, DevOps pipelines.
- Develop PKI governance frameworks, including CP/CPS, compliance reviews, audits, and security standards alignment.
- Automate PKI operations using Venafi/Keyfactor or custom scripting for certificate lifecycle management.
Preferred Certifications
- Certified PKI Professional (Keyfactor / Thales / Similar)
- Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect
- GIAC Security Leadership or equivalent
Secondary Responsibilities (MS DLP – Optional)
- Monitor and analyze DLP alerts, supporting incident response & reporting.
- Optimize and fine-tune DLP policies to reduce false positives.
- Collaborate with compliance, legal, and IT teams for alignment with regulatory frameworks like GDPR, HIPAA.
