Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated VMware Lab Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, updating, and enhancing training materials—including hands-on labs and presentations—focused on VMware Software-Defined Networking (SDN) technologies. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to work effectively with a geographically distributed team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update VMware SDN hands-on lab environments.
  • Ensure lab configurations are accurate, functional, and aligned with latest VMware product updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve lab environment issues.
  • Update and enhance training slides, documents, and lab guides.
  • Ensure all training content is technically correct and easy to understand.
  • Work closely with geographically dispersed teams across Europe and the US.
  • Participate in content reviews and team discussions.
  • Conduct QA checks on lab instructions, documentation, and training flows.
  • Ensure all material meets quality, clarity, and usability standards.
  • Stay updated with VMware product releases and emerging technologies.
  • Contribute new ideas to improve training effectiveness and lab efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of VMware ESX, vCenter, NSX, and VCF.
  • Experience automating infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, VRA, or similar tools.
  • Good understanding of Load Balancing, GSLB, Kubernetes, and container platforms.
  • Excellent written communication skills, especially for documentation and lab instruction updates.
  • Ability to work independently within a global, multi-time-zone team.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Ability to convert value propositions into hands-on lab scenarios.
  • Experience maintaining and updating training documentation.
  • Prior experience supporting learning and development teams.
