Deputy Manager – Taxation

About the Role
Seeking an experienced Deputy Manager – Taxation to oversee direct tax compliance, audits, and tax reporting for Indian and global entities within Technip Energies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns, TDS/withholding tax, advance tax, and tax provisions.
- Manage direct tax compliance for Indian and non-resident group entities.
- Support statutory audits, tax audits, transfer pricing filings, and group tax reporting.
- Assist in tax assessments, litigation, intra-group transactions, and tax advisory.
- Review tax clauses for bids and finalize tax structures with Group Tax teams.
- Provide inputs for MIS reporting and prepare tax-related presentations/slides.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- CA / CMA / MBA Finance or relevant finance qualification.
- 6–10 years of experience in direct taxation and compliance.
- Strong exposure to corporate tax, TDS, audits, and tax assessments.
- Experience supporting multinational/group entities.
- Working knowledge of GST and FEMA regulations.
- Experience in dealing with tax consultants, authorities, and statutory auditors.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of Direct Tax Laws & Transfer Pricing
- Expertise in tax computation & reporting
- Understanding of GST, FEMA & cross-border tax implications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Good communication skills & stakeholder management
