Consultant / Lead Engineer – Webiny & Serverless Architecture

Location: Pune

Experience: 7–10 Years

Salary Range : ₹22–32 LPA

Job Summary

We are looking for a Lead Engineer (Consultant) to take ownership of our Webiny-powered digital platform.

This leadership position requires a hands-on expert with deep knowledge of Webiny, serverless architecture, AWS cloud services, and headless CMS ecosystems. You will serve as a technical leader, mentor, and project strategist, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and efficient serverless applications using Webiny on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications using the Webiny framework.
  • Drive architectural decisions to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable serverless solutions.
  • Manage and mentor engineering teams, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps.
  • Partner with Product and UX teams to define requirements and deliver high-impact features.
  • Ensure top-tier platform performance, security, and compliance.
  • Own and evolve the Webiny CMS strategy, including plugin customization, GraphQL APIs, and multi-tenant solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and foster a high-performing, collaborative engineering culture.
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and delivery for large-scale Webiny initiatives.
  • Work closely with DevOps on optimizing CI/CD pipelines, AWS Lambda functions, and IaC implementation.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a lead or managerial role.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Webiny or similar headless CMS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3).
  • Strong programming skills in Node.js, TypeScript, and experience building GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience using IaC tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, or Pulumi.
  • Proven track record leading complex, high-impact engineering projects end-to-end.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and DevSecOps principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Contributions to Webiny open-source plugins or ecosystem tooling.
  • Experience with JAMstack, SSG tools, and frontend frameworks (React, Next.js).
  • Understanding of multi-tenant architectures and SaaS platform design.
  • Knowledge of CMS migration, content modeling, and enterprise content governance.
