Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in consulting, analytics, and engineering leadership. This role requires hands-on experience in managing large-scale data engineering, BI, and AI/ML delivery teams, while ensuring seamless project execution, client satisfaction, and value-driven outcomes. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who brings strong communication, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to oversee complex data programs in analytics-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of data engineering, analytics, and AI projects in an Agile environment.
- Manage fixed-price and outcome-based delivery, ensuring quality, timelines, and financial success.
- Oversee multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, BI, QA, and DevOps.
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as the key delivery partner and escalation point.
- Develop project plans, estimation models, delivery frameworks, and SLA adherence metrics.
- Drive creation of user stories, backlog prioritization, and sprint planning.
- Ensure efficient communication across business, engineering, product, and customer teams.
- Identify project risks, mitigation plans, and governance frameworks.
- Support continuous improvement, Agile coaching, and delivery excellence programs.
- Work closely with BI teams (preferably using Sigma) to review reporting outputs and analytics deliverables.
- Ensure technical depth across data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud engineering workflows.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Consulting background with experience in project and client management.
- Strong communication skills with executive-level stakeholder handling.
- Proven experience leading data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML delivery teams.
- Hands-on knowledge of data warehousing concepts and engineering workflows.
- Experience with BI reporting tools (Sigma preferred).
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery & project governance.
- Experience in: Data Quality (DQ) DevOps processes QA & testing lifecycle
- Industry exposure in warehousing and logistics is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of Text-to-SQL concepts.
- Basic understanding of Node.js.
- Must come from a data analytics background.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with DQ, DevOps, and QA teams.
- Domain experience with supply chain, warehousing, or logistics companies.
- Familiarity with building or evaluating Text-to-SQL frameworks.
- Technical exposure to backend ecosystems including Node.js.
