Position Overview
The Senior Project Consultant – Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) will support government-led regulatory reform initiatives focused on simplifying business approvals, improving inter-departmental coordination, and enhancing investor experience. The role involves working closely with multiple government departments to drive deregulation, policy reforms, and digital enablement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Map and streamline regulatory and approval processes for starting and operating businesses
- Coordinate with multiple government departments and regulatory authorities
- Support implementation of EoDB / BRAP reforms and deregulation initiatives
- Assist in policy updates, notifications, and regulatory simplification efforts
- Prepare MIS reports, reform evidence, presentations, and progress dashboards
- Work with IT teams to enhance Single Window Systems and investor workflows
- Facilitate investor approvals and resolve inter-departmental bottlenecks
- Provide project management support for government reform programs
Skills & Attributes
- Strong understanding of government processes, approval systems, and compliance frameworks
- Experience working with government clients and senior officials
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- Strong stakeholder coordination and project management abilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA from a recognized institute
- 6+ years of project management or government advisory experience
- Experience in regulatory reforms or public sector consulting preferred
- Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) experience – Good to Have
