About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager (Sr. BDM) to join our high-performing Sales & Business Development team. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to the healthcare and health & wellness sector, particularly in diabetes management, digital health, or condition management solutions. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, acquiring new clients, expanding existing accounts, and closing large-scale enterprise deals. The position demands a blend of strategic thinking, relationship management, and execution excellence, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and unit targets through new client acquisition and account expansion
- Identify, develop, and convert leads into long-term partnerships with corporates, hospitals, insurers, and healthcare stakeholders
- Build and manage strong relationships with CXOs, senior decision-makers, and key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem
- Lead the complete sales lifecycle including prospecting, solutioning, negotiations, and deal closures
- Drive large deal closures with enterprise and institutional clients
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals highlighting value proposition and ROI
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Operations, Clinical) to ensure smooth execution and delivery
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to refine sales strategies
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance brand visibility and networking
Key Requirements
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 5–6+ years of proven experience in healthcare business development
- Strong exposure to diabetes management, digital health, wellness, or condition management solutions
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proven ability to close large deals and manage enterprise-level accounts
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong presentation and proposal development capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with high ownership
- Strong existing network within the healthcare ecosystem (corporates, providers, payers, pharma, wellness companies) is highly desirable
