Java Developer Lead (OSS – Non GUI Applications)

Experience: 8+ Years

Location: Noida

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer Lead to work on a Java-based OSS (Operations Support System) involving non-GUI application development. The role involves end-to-end delivery ownership and leading a technical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 5+ developers (backend, frontend & database)
  • Own end-to-end delivery of the product
  • Lead technical discussions and status meetings
  • Resolve complex technical issues and support team members
  • Review High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents
  • Perform system-level bug analysis and fixes
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and SDLC practices

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Java / J2EE and Linux
  • Backend application development experience
  • Database experience with PostgreSQL / SQL
  • Knowledge of Networking and OSS systems
  • Hands-on experience with Netconf, REST API, SOAP API
  • Experience in web-based applications, enterprise systems, or product UIs
  • Strong experience in HLD & LLD documentation
  • Proven experience leading teams of 5+ members
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall SDLC

Educational Qualifications

  • BE / B.Tech
  • MCA
  • MSc – IT
