About the Role
As an Assistant Manager in the Supply Chain Digital Automation team, you will design, develop, and maintain AI-first web applications and digital solutions that optimize Flipkart’s supply chain. You will collaborate with product, tech, operations, and design teams to deliver scalable features enhancing both user experience and operational efficiency. This role combines technical proficiency with business acumen, requiring a holistic understanding of projects from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable supply chain web applications across the Flipkart ecosystem.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices.
- Lead delivery of assigned features/modules from concept to execution and scale-up.
- Participate in code reviews and proactively seek stakeholder feedback to maintain high product standards.
- Own the SDLC and monitor success metrics such as adherence, reliability, and accuracy for developed products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and implement new digital automation solutions.

The Supply Chain Digital Automation team at Flipkart focuses on making supply chain operations faster, more accurate, and cost-effective. We customize and deploy technologies to solve real-world problems across the network. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 0 –2 years in web development, with understanding of front-end and back-end systems.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or similar.
- Web development expertise (front-end & back-end).
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and applications.
- Understanding of system design principles.
- Ability to create simple, user-friendly UI/UX for field executives and operators.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience in e-commerce environments preferred.
- Willingness to learn, travel, and take ownership of projects.
Desirable Skills

- Experience with React, Django framework, DBMS, SQL
