About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Backend Engineer to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services within a cloud-native ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in AWS, microservices, container orchestration, and event-driven architectures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build modern, resilient backend solutions for large-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using AWS cloud services, focusing on scalability and performance.
  • Implement backend logic using TypeScript or GoLang with clean, maintainable code.
  • Build and optimize event-driven architectures using AWS events, queues, and triggers.
  • Develop and deploy AWS Lambda functions for serverless applications.
  • Manage Kubernetes workloads on EKS, ensuring smooth deployment and lifecycle management.
  • Configure and operate Argo Rollouts and Helm charts for progressive delivery and version control.
  • Use Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation for environment provisioning.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitHub Workflows, or Jenkins.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues, optimize services, and ensure system reliability and security.
  • Stay updated with AWS best practices, architectural patterns, and emerging cloud technologies.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services
  • Proficiency in TypeScript or GoLang
  • Experience with AWS Lambda
  • Expertise in event-driven architecture
  • Strong understanding of microservice architecture
  • Experience with Kubernetes / EKS
  • Hands-on experience with Argo Rollouts and Helm

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with build systems and release processes
  • Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools
  • Experience with GitHub Actions / Workflows
  • Exposure to Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools
