Role: BarTender 10.1 Label Template & Integration Specialist

Experience: 6+ Years | Salary: ₹12–15 LPA

1. Label Template Development (BarTender 10.1)

  • Convert existing label templates from legacy labeling systems into BarTender 10.1.
  • Design and develop new label templates to support complex and custom business workflows.
  • Optimize label templates for performance, barcode readability, compliance, and long-term maintainability.
  • Ensure all label designs comply with regulatory, branding, and operational standards.

2. Printer Configuration & Print Output Validation

  • Configure and manage label printers for compatibility with BarTender 10.1.
  • Validate printed labels for alignment, scan accuracy, DPI consistency, and data correctness.
  • Troubleshoot printer drivers, print quality issues, and connectivity failures.
  • Support deployment and maintenance of Print Station and label-printing workstations across environments.

3. Security & Authentication Integration

  • Configure and support Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for secure access to BarTender applications.
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise security policies and identity management standards.
  • Work closely with IAM and security teams to validate authentication workflows.

4. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

  • Implement and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BC) strategies for BarTender environments.
  • Document backup processes, failover procedures, and recovery steps.
  • Conduct DR and BC testing in coordination with IT infrastructure and operations teams.

5. Systems & Data Integration

  • Develop and manage secure API integrations with SAP and Oracle to support dynamic, data-driven label printing.
  • Enable flat-file integrations (CSV, TXT, XML) for Honeywell applications and automated workflows.
  • Configure Print Station integrations using a license-only model, without full Client Automation deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize data mappings, workflows, and inter-system communication.

6. Testing, Quality Assurance & Deployment

  • Perform end-to-end functional testing to validate label accuracy, reliability, and system performance.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve identified defects.
  • Document test cases, configurations, deployment steps, and operational guidelines.
  • Assist with deployments across Development, QA, and Production environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with BarTender 10.1 (Designer, Integration Builder, Print Station).
  • Strong understanding of label printers, print servers, and barcode symbologies (1D & 2D).
  • Experience with SSO/MFA integrations (Azure AD, Okta, Ping, or similar).
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Oracle, and Honeywell system integrations (API or flat-file based).
  • Familiarity with data mapping, workflow automation, and print server configurations.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
