The role of Cyber and Digital Security Specialist – SAP involves ensuring that SAP systems are secure, compliant, and designed to mitigate digital IT risks. This individual will leverage expertise in Infrastructure Security & Data Protection to protect information assets and address security challenges across the SAP platform. The primary focus is to ensure that SAP products, platforms, and solutions meet security and compliance standards while aligning with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Secure & Compliant by Design: Ensure new SAP products, platforms, and solutions are implemented with security and compliance in mind.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with Enterprise Architects, functional architects, and other security specialists to ensure adequate security measures are applied across all SAP-related IT products and platforms.
• Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate SAP security risks.
• Security Incident Management: Support the resolution of security incidents and breaches within SAP systems.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure SAP systems meet relevant security standards and regulations.
• Framework Development: Review and develop security frameworks, guidelines, and documentation specific to SAP security.
• Security Architecture Review: Actively participate in Architecture Review meetings to ensure the security of current and new SAP solutions.

This role is critical in maintaining SAP system security, ensuring they adhere to the latest security standards and addressing vulnerabilities proactively.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, System Analysis, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 8+ years of experience in IT Security.
• SAP Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP systems, including SAP BASIS, ECC, HANA, and relevant security aspects.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven experience in configuring and managing SAP security tools and technologies.
• Certifications: Certification in relevant security fields (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Security Architect or equivalent).
• Audit & Risk Management: Hands-on experience in audits, risk assessments, and remediation planning, as well as delivery and monitoring.
• Standards & Controls Knowledge: Solid understanding of IS/IT standards and controls.
• Global Experience: Experience working in a global international environment, collaborating with virtual teams.
