Role Summary
As a Cloud FinOps Analyst / Analytics Lead, you will play a dual role by leading an analytics team and acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for FinOps Analytics. This position demands strong leadership, advanced analytics expertise, and deep understanding of cloud platforms to deliver impactful financial and operational insights. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, guide cloud cost management initiatives, and ensure high-quality analytics delivery across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and drive cloud cost optimization opportunities, including rightsizing, reservations, savings plans, and technology upgrades
- Lead, mentor, and manage the analytics team, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality insights and BI solutions
- Perform deep data analysis using advanced SQL, BigQuery, and BI tools
- Design and deliver custom dashboards and reports for business and technical stakeholders
- Develop data-driven cloud cost optimization strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units, translating complex technical data into actionable insights
- Ensure best practices in analytics, governance, and continuous improvement

- Strong expertise in SQL, BigQuery, Python
- Business Intelligence tools: Power BI, Tableau
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP, including pricing models and service offerings

- 15 years of full-time education (mandatory)
