Job Description
As a Global Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding BEUMER Group’s digital assets by continuously monitoring the global threat landscape, investigating incidents, and enhancing security measures. You will be responsible for proactive threat detection, incident management, vulnerability remediation, and the ongoing improvement of cybersecurity processes.
Key Responsibilities
Continuous Monitoring & Analysis
- Monitor BEUMER Group’s global threat landscape using advanced tools and technologies.
- Analyze emerging threats and assess their impact on the organization’s security posture.
Incident Triage & Investigation
- Triage and investigate security alerts from EDR, SOC, and IDS systems.
- Conduct in-depth investigations to determine scope, severity, and remediation steps.
Security Inquiry Management
- Serve as a point of contact for security-related inquiries from internal departments.
- Provide guidance on security best practices, policies, and procedures.
Global Vulnerability Management
- Lead global vulnerability scanning, monitoring, and patching activities.
- Develop processes to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities promptly.
- Stay updated on the global vulnerability landscape to adjust defense strategies.
Incident Response Plan Enhancement
- Regularly review and refine incident response plans and checklists.
- Ensure alignment with industry standards and BEUMER Group’s operational needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA CySA+ or GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler).
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity with focus on: Threat monitoring, Incident response ,Vulnerability management
- Proven track record in managing global security incidents within corporate environments.
- Expertise with EDR tools, IDS systems, and vulnerability management platforms.
- Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, firewalls, and security technologies.
- Advanced problem-solving skills with ability to respond to complex incidents.
- Strong analytical skills to identify risks, track trends, and recommend preventive measures.
