Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineering Analyst to join our Global Infrastructure team. The role involves telecom order processing, invoice validation, billing dispute management, telecom inventory tracking, and analytics/reporting. The analyst will collaborate with global carriers and cross-functional teams—Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Compliance—to ensure accuracy, cost efficiency, and smooth operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Telecom Order & Service Management
- Process new telecom service orders and initiate disconnects for unused services.
- Support internal teams in provisioning required telecom services.
- Maintain and update global telecom inventory databases, ensuring alignment with contract details.
- Invoice Review & Billing Disputes

Review and validate monthly telecom invoices for accuracy.

Identify billing discrepancies; file and track disputes with carriers.

Detect zero-usage circuits, billing exceptions, and rate mismatches.

Apply knowledge of chargebacks, accruals, and journal entries.
- Vendor & Contract Management

Track telecom contract renewal timelines and prevent re-rate risks.

Support procurement teams during contract negotiations and renewals.

Manage carrier portal access and coordinate activities with TEM vendors.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely dispute resolution.
- Analytics, Reporting & Cost Optimization
- Analyze telecom circuit and expense data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Generate inventory & spend reports, perform ROI analysis, and prepare leadership reports.
- Deliver monthly and biweekly telecom spend dashboards.
- Present cost-reduction recommendations backed by business cases.
- Collaboration & Operations Support
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Tax, Compliance, and other internal functions.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and reduce payment errors.
- Facilitate effective communication across teams to ensure timely execution.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience handling US telecom invoices (AT&T, Verizon, Lumen/CenturyLink, etc.).
- Strong understanding of telecom billing, voice/data network accounts, and vendor credits.
- Experience with wireline and wireless telecom inventory management.
- Sound knowledge of accruals, journal entries, and financial controls.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Technical Requirements
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas, charts).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze large datasets related to circuits, spend, and operational metrics.
- Experience with porting procedures between network providers (preferred).
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience in Telecom Expense Management (TEM).
- Understanding of telecom contract structures and pricing models.
- Experience presenting financial insights to senior leadership.
- Background in process improvement or automation initiatives.
