Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications
  • Architect real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions
  • Integrate OT systems (PLC, SCADA, MES) with enterprise IT systems (ERP, databases, cloud)
  • Develop secure and efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA
  • Manage and optimize industrial databases and historians for high availability and performance
  • Support MES functionalities such as production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, SPC, and traceability
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing SCADA/MES deployments to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align systems with business and production goals
  • Provide technical leadership for digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives

Mandatory Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in SCADA/MES engineering within manufacturing
  • Proven hands-on expertise with Ignition SCADA (Inductive Automation)
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI)
  • Proficiency in SQL-based databases and historians
  • Hands-on experience with OT–IT integration technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Good to Have

  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms (Azure IoT, AWS IoT)
  • Knowledge of OT cybersecurity best practices
  • Exposure to Docker / Kubernetes for SCADA/MES deployments
  • Experience in large-scale Industry 4.0 / digital transformation projects
  • Certifications: Ignition Gold Certified Specialist, OPC UA, or related OT/IT certifications
