About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Integration Architect / Lead with deep expertise in WSO2 API Management and enterprise integration architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing scalable API solutions, ensuring seamless integration, security, and high performance across government and enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement API solutions using WSO2 API Manager and related integration components.
- Manage full API lifecycle — design, publishing, versioning, retirement, and governance.
- Develop and maintain APIs using Java and JavaScript, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.
- Configure and manage API traffic, throttling, rate limiting, caching, and load balancing.
- Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and SSL certificate configurations.
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize WSO2 API Manager instances in containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Analyze API performance and usage through WSO2 Analytics; identify trends and address potential issues.
- Leverage tools like APICTL and WSO2 Update Tool for administration and maintenance.
- Create and maintain API documentation using Swagger / OpenAPI specifications.
- Implement DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and configuration management.
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues using WSO2 log and configuration files.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with WSO2 API Manager (design, development, and lifecycle management).
- Expertise in Java, JavaScript, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON.
- Experience in API Security, Traffic Management, and Rate Limiting.
- Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL/TLS, and Keystore configurations.
- Proficiency with WSO2 APIM deployment patterns and containerized environments.
- Experience with WSO2 Analytics, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in API and integration environments.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience working on Linux/Unix environments.
- Scripting and automation experience with Bash, Python, or Go.
- Exposure to government IT infrastructure and compliance-driven projects.
