Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled MERN Developer with a passion for building dynamic, high-performance web applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying full-stack solutions using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) and modern frameworks like Next.js.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle — from concept to deployment and support.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Build responsive, SEO-friendly web applications using React.js and Next.js.
- Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and project managers to deliver quality solutions.
- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Work with MongoDB for database design, queries, and performance optimization.
- Implement unit tests using frameworks like Mocha and Chai.
- Optimize front-end and back-end performance for scalability and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and sprint planning.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to process improvements.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Hands-on experience with Next.js (SSR/SSG) and React hooks.
- Proficient in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (Mocha, Chai).
- Good understanding of server-side rendering, API routes, and web vitals.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with GCP, AWS, or other cloud environments.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD workflows.
- Exposure to Git, Docker, or Kubernetes.
