Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Angular Architect to lead and mentor a front-end development team building modern, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Angular, NgRx, and micro web app architecture, along with a strong commitment to accessibility, mobile-first design, dark mode support, and test-driven development (TDD) This role requires close collaboration with design teams using Figma, strong hands-on skills in advanced CSS, and leadership capability to drive technical excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and govern NgRx-based state management for predictable and maintainable application behavior
- Champion mobile-first development to ensure optimal performance across devices
- Design and implement dark mode support using CSS variables, theming strategies, and accessibility best practices
- Enforce accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 / 2.2) across UI components, ensuring inclusive user experiences
- Define and implement unit testing strategies using Jest, Jasmine, Karma, and promote TDD culture
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI teams using Figma, translating designs into responsive, accessible, and high-performance UIs
- Apply advanced CSS techniques (Flexbox, Grid, animations, theming) for consistent and visually rich interfaces
- Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and guide technical decision-making
- Work with product managers, backend engineers, and designers to deliver cohesive solutions
- Establish and maintain coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices
- Stay current with the Angular ecosystem and proactively introduce improvements and innovations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of frontend development experience, with 5+ years in Angular
- Strong expertise in Angular, NgRx, TypeScript, RxJS
- Proven experience with micro web app / micro frontend architecture
- Advanced knowledge of HTML5, SCSS, modern JavaScript
- Deep understanding of accessibility (semantic HTML, ARIA roles, screen readers)
- Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks and writing comprehensive test suites
- Proficiency in Figma for design collaboration and handoff
- Advanced CSS skills including responsive layouts, theming, Flexbox, Grid
- Experience implementing mobile-first design and dark mode
- Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL, and integration patterns
- Experience with Git workflows, CI/CD tools, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with micro frontends and module federation
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of frontend security best practices
- Contributions to open-source projects, technical blogs, or conference talks
