Responsibilities and Duties
- Strong experience with PHP, Word Press, MySQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Backend Technologies: PHP, Laravel and CodeIgniter.
- Must have Developing REST API sending and receiving data in JSON.
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.
- Strong understanding of OOP’s concept.
- Understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues.
- Experience in JavaScript and JQuery.
- Knowledge of HTML, css, Angular JS/ React JS is a bonus.
- E-commerce development experience is most preferable.
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
- Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
- Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support.
- Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
- Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous working experience as a PHP Developer for 1+ years.
- Hands on experience on Laravel and CodeIgniter Frameworks.
- Excellent relational database skills with MySQL.
- Experience with building restful JSON web services.
- Knowledge of API’s, such as twitter, Facebook, Google maps, Instagram, etc..
- Proficient in PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery Expert.
- Knowledge on Angular 4/5/6, Node JS or React JS.
- Knowledge on Angular, couchDB and/or MongoDB.
- Understanding of responsive design frameworks such as bootstrap.
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
- Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds.
