Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of data extraction, data validation, and transformed datasets.
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to analyze requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Conduct functional, integration, and API testing for web applications and backend services.
- Log defects with clear documentation and partner with developers for timely resolution.
- Track and report test progress, quality metrics, and provide input for release decisions.
- Assist in developing automated test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript with Cypress or Playwright.
- Participate in peer reviews of test cases, automation scripts, and overall QA strategy.
- Identify and implement improvements in testing processes, including automation recommendations.
- Stay updated with QA tools, frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Participate in daily SCRUMs, sprint planning, and defect triage.
- Ensure adherence to organizational QA standards and continuous improvement in testing methodologies.
Mandatory Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech) with 2+ years of experience in manual testing, device testing, and automated functional testing.
- Strong programming proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, preferably with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Experience in API testing and ETL pipeline validation.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and test coverage principles.
- Hands-on experience automating complex headless and web applications using robust frameworks.
