Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced RBI Engineer (Pipeline Integrity) to support risk-based inspection programs for upstream and midstream oil & gas assets. The role focuses on corrosion assessment, damage mechanism analysis, and inspection planning to ensure asset integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) programs for pipelines and static equipment
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to ensure asset integrity and operational reliability
  • Perform Damage Mechanism Reviews (DMR) and material degradation studies
  • Identify and establish corrosion loops/circuits and Integrity Operating Windows (IOW)
  • Analyze inspection, corrosion, and operating data to identify potential hazards and failure mechanisms
  • Support inspection planning, inspection interval optimization, and mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with API 580 and API 581 standards
  • Collaborate with operations, inspection, and engineering teams to resolve integrity issues

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an RBI Engineer in upstream or midstream oil & gas companies such as:
  • ONGC, OIL, Cairn, GAIL, Essar, Reliance (RIL), etc OR
  • 5–8 years of total experience with: At least 3 years in oil production ,Remaining experience with EPC/engineering firms such as LTTS, TOYO, EIL, TECHNIMONT, working specifically in an RBI engineering role
  • Strong practical knowledge of pipeline integrity and inspection methodologies
