Position Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Manager with deep expertise in solar inverter sales to lead and expand our India Residential Product segment. This role requires a dynamic, entrepreneurial individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and is capable of working independently while managing nationwide accounts and relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive SolarEdge product sales and increase market share across India in alignment with business objectives.
- Identify, negotiate, and close high-value deals with installers, distributors, and utility companies.
- Organize and lead events, workshops, and partnerships with key industry stakeholders including associations, developers, and end-users.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with solar distribution channels and strategic partners.
- Forecast revenue, track performance, and take corrective actions to meet or exceed targets.
- Represent SolarEdge at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
- Collaborate with global and local teams to ensure strategic alignment and flawless execution.
- Provide customer feedback to influence product development and marketing strategies.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reports.
- Execute SolarEdge’s brand positioning and messaging strategy across the region.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; MBA in Sales & Marketing – an added advantage
- 4–6 years of proven experience in solar inverter sales or related solar products
- Strong technical understanding of PV systems, modules, and inverter solutions
- Ability to work remotely, independently, and manage sales operations across Pan-India
- Willingness to travel extensively across India on short notice
- Strong network within the solar industry and an impressive sales track record
- Demonstrated ability to grow market share, penetrate new accounts, and close large deals
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- Languages: Fluent in English and Hindi
- International exposure or working with global teams is preferred
