Job Description

Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst

Location: Bangalore, India

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

The Senior Business Systems Analyst partners with Technical Product Managers and business units to identify, document, and implement operational improvements, process optimizations, and automation initiatives. This role analyzes existing workflows, recommends solutions, and ensures effective implementation, documentation, and training across functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Technical Product Managers and business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, process flows, and system access needs.
  • Conduct change impact analyses and assess implications of proposed system or operational changes.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, cost-benefit analyses, and implementation plans for new systems or process improvements.
  • Act as liaison between end-users, technical analysts, consultants, and IT teams to ensure optimal case management system performance.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing, validate new system functionalities, and support training and adoption of changes.
  • Develop detailed functional documentation, training materials, and procedures for end-users and staff.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and technical guidance to team members to ensure consistent knowledge transfer and process compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field preferred. High school diploma or GED required.
  • Up to 5 years of experience in residential loan servicing, product management, or related functional/business systems roles.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, XML, modern technical architecture, and ability to analyze and manipulate data using SQL or other database tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and experience with Visio, Sagent LoanServ, or Black Knight MSP is highly desirable.
