Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer who is passionate about cloud technologies and security. You will work on securing cloud-native environments, implementing DevSecOps practices, and building scalable, secure infrastructure using modern automation and cloud tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure using AWS and Kubernetes
- Build and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps workflows
- Develop automation using Python, Ansible, and related scripting tools
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security best practices across SDLC
- Analyze logs and monitoring data to perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Ensure cloud environments follow security, networking, and compliance best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience in cloud or cloud security engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes
- Experience with Terraform and CloudFormation
- Proficiency in Python scripting and configuration management tools like Ansible
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and source control tools like Git
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps and SDLC processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of Linux system administration
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Strong expertise in cloud security and cloud networking
- Experience building projects involving API integrations
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, log analysis, and incident investigation
