Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant / Senior Consultant to support SAP S/4HANA AMS and implementation projects. The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in Procurement, Inventory Management, ESM, LIV, Pricing, Release Strategies, and cross-module integration. This role involves implementation, enhancement, production support, and client interaction for US-based AMS projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure SAP MM organizational structure (purchase org, valuation area, plant, storage locations).
- Set up material groups, purchasing groups, payment terms, Inco terms, and pricing procedures.
- Define number ranges for MM objects (material master, vendor master, purchasing & inventory documents).
- Configure release strategies for PR/PO..
- Prepare cut-over strategy and user manuals; conduct end-user training.
- Support go-live and post go-live activities. AMS / Support Activities
- Handle incidents, service requests, change requests within SLA.
- Troubleshoot issues, execute configuration changes, and support S/4HANA conversions/upgrades.
- Prepare test scenarios, solution documents, and provide detailed documentation.
- Build logic for customized reports based on business needs.
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of Procurement, Inventory, ESM, LIV, Batch/Serial Management, Output Determination.
- Experience in Pricing, Release Strategies, and Cross-Module Integration.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and client-handling skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong customer relationship and problem-solving abilities.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality.
