Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior GCP Platform Administrator to lead the end-to-end management of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise across GCP services, Kubernetes (GKE), networking, security, automation, and DevOps, along with the ability to provide strategic technical leadership and ensure a secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provision, configure, and administer GCP resources including: Compute Engine Cloud Storage Databases and supporting services
  • Monitor infrastructure health and optimize resource utilization for performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
  • Implement and manage backup and restore strategies for critical workloads.
  • Manage and maintain Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters.
  • Implement Kubernetes RBAC, security policies, pod scheduling, and high-availability best practices.
  • Ensure container platform stability, scalability, and security.
  • Design and implement robust cloud network architectures: VPCs, subnets, routing tables ,Firewall rules, Cloud VPN, Load balancers (NetScaler)
  • Establish GCP Landing Zones aligned with enterprise governance standards.
  • Coordinate deployment of applications on: GKE (containerized workloads) Compute Engine (VM-based workloads)
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, GCP Deployment Manag
  • Storage and database performance tuning
  • Optimize cloud spend and improve efficiency.
  • Implement caching, CDN, or other performance enhancements as required.
