Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Python Developer with deep expertise in backend engineering, AWS cloud services, and modern software development practices. The ideal candidate will bring 8–12 years of experience in building scalable, cloud-native applications and will be committed to delivering high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex Python-based microservices for data ingestion, querying, and processing.
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services for performance and scalability.
  • Create and implement clean, efficient, and reusable data models.
  • Write robust unit tests and ensure test integration within the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Maintain high coding standards ensuring reliability, maintainability, and security.
  • Work closely with product managers, architects, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture planning.
  • Continuously enhance backend systems for improved performance, resilience, and fault-tolerance.
  • Leverage AWS Cloud Services to build secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8–12 years of professional software development experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python, including hands-on experience with frameworks and modern Python features.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and REST API design.
  • Solid experience with AWS Cloud Services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, ECS, etc.).
  • Strong competency in writing unit tests and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficient in working with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Python Asyncio and FastAPI.
  • Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) including SSO, SAML.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI, vector databases, and basic machine learning concepts.
