Senior QA Engineer – CMS Automation

Location: Bengaluru

Salary Range: ₹15–22 LPA 

Job Type: Full Time


About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with strong automation expertise and hands-on experience in Webiny CMS or similar enterprise CMS platforms (AEM, Sitecore, Drupal, WordPress, etc.).

This role will ensure quality, stability, and scalability of CMS-driven digital products through robust test planning, automation development, and continuous quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks for CMS-based web applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and regression test suites (manual & automated).
  • Perform functional, integration, performance, and end-to-end testing for CMS workflows.
  • Validate CMS templates, components, authoring tools, and UX requirements.
  • Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects; verify fixes after resolution.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and advocate for best automation practices.
  • Continuously improve automation coverage, code quality, and testing efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of QA experience, including 2+ years in automation testing.
  • Hands-on experience with CMS platforms: AEM, Sitecore, Drupal, WordPress, Webiny CMS, etc.
  • Strong automation skills using: Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, or similar tools.
  • Strong scripting/coding skills in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
  • Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured, Karate).
  • CI/CD integration experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CMS automation experience using Sling APIs, CRX, Granite UI (for AEM).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Performance testing experience (JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Knowledge of Accessibility testing & SEO validation.
  • Experience with Git and test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, Xray).
