About the Role:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer experienced in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium, TestSigma, Playwright, and AI-driven testing tools. This role involves designing, executing, and optimizing test strategies for high-quality software delivery across various platforms and environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and API-based applications.
- Build and maintain robust automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, TestSigma, and Playwright.
- Perform API testing using SOAPUI, RIT, and AXE.
- Validate data integrity and perform database testing with strong SQL queries.
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and manage version control with GitHub.
- Utilize test management tools like Jira and qTest to plan, track, and report testing progress.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and ensure timely resolutions.
- Mentor junior testers and promote quality engineering best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing.
- Strong proficiency in Selenium, TestSigma, Playwright, and similar tools.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Experience in API testing using SOAPUI, RIT, AXE, or equivalent tools.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and version control systems (GitHub).
- Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira and qTest.
- Ability to write clean, reusable, and modular automation code.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines.
