Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional with strong expertise in server migration, containerization, AWS EKS, Linux administration, and automation scripting. The role involves leading end-to-end migration projects from Windows to Linux, implementing scalable containerized solutions, and managing AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute Windows-to-Linux server migration projects end-to-end.
- Design and build containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AWS EKS).
- Architect secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments on AWS.
- Develop automation for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Integrate and administer tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Xray.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, container, and cloud-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure optimized system performance.
- Maintain detailed documentation for architecture, migration processes, and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in server migration from Windows to Linux.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and preferably AWS EKS.
- Solid experience with Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Strong understanding of AWS services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFormation, EKS.
- Scripting experience using Bash / Python / PowerShell.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation.
- Experience with Jira Administration & Integration (Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Xray).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent.
- Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch.
- Understanding of cloud and container security best practices.
