Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in UI Builder and Custom Application Development. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with the NOW Platform, integrations, and building scalable, custom solutions using modern ServiceNow components. This role requires strong coding skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to stay current with the latest ServiceNow releases.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • 9+ years of overall industry experience.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow.
  • 4+ years of experience in NOW Platform development.
  • 4+ years of integrations experience (REST APIs, scripted integrations, data exchange).
  • 4+ years of Custom Application development experience on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong ability to write clean, optimized code using JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
  • Hands-on development experience using:
  • ServiceNow Studio
  • UI Builder
  • Flow Designer
  • Automation & Integration capabilities
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stay updated with ServiceNow platform upgrades, patches, and new capabilities.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with ServiceNow Portal (Service Portal / Employee Center).
  • Hands-on experience with UI Builder for building workspace experiences.
  • Exposure to ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
  • Understanding of CMDB, workflow engines, and platform security concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain custom applications using ServiceNow UI Builder and platform capabilities.
  • Implement integrations using REST APIs and other data exchange methods.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and platform teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and optimize platform performance.
  • Participate in ServiceNow version upgrades and ensure application compatibility.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide Level 3 technical support when necessary.
  • Contribute to documentation, design specifications, and knowledge sharing.
