Position Overview
The SOC Operations professional will manage and enhance in-house Security Operations Center (SOC) activities with a strong focus on incident response, tool optimization, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day SOC operations and monitoring activities
- Oversee incident detection, analysis, and response workflows
- Ensure timely identification and mitigation of security threats
- Optimize SOC tools and eliminate redundancy across platforms
- Improve SOC operational efficiency and response effectiveness
- Implement SOC process automation and playbooks
- Coordinate with internal security, IT, and incident response teams
- Track and report SOC metrics, incidents, and trends
Mandatory Skills
- SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, etc.)
- SOAR tools and automation workflows
- Threat intelligence platforms and feeds
- Incident response and SOC operations
Preferred Skills
- SOC process automation and optimization
- Security monitoring and alert tuning
- Log analysis and threat correlation
Experience & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in SOC operations
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience managing in-house SOC environments
- Good communication and coordination skills
