Job Purpose
Ensure cloud infrastructure availability, performance, and security across AWS and Azure platforms, while driving automation and optimization of cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure and AWS-based infrastructure and services.
- Monitor and optimize resources for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to automate deployments using Azure DevOps, containerization, and related tools.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect cloud resources and data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues across Azure and AWS environments.
- Stay updated with the latest Azure/AWS services and propose continuous improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.Com or equivalent).
- Work Experience: 6+ years in IT infrastructure management. 4+ years of hands-on cloud operations with Azure and AWS.
- Certifications: Azure / AWS certifications (mandatory).
- Preferred/Additional: Knowledge of on-premises infrastructure. Exposure to application middleware (IaaS/ PaaS).
Functional Competencies
- Cloud Services Expertise: Azure VMs, Storage, App Service, SQL Database, Active Directory; AWS RDS, IAM, VPC.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): AWS CloudFormation, Terraform.
- DevOps & Automation: Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights; AWS monitoring tools.
- Security & Compliance: Access controls, encryption, GDPR, HIPAA best practices.
- Networking: VPCs, subnets, security groups, routing tables, VPN connections.
