Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, Python, Spark, and Hadoop to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions within the Palantir Foundry environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable data-driven insights and architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and workflows for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Palantir Foundry-based solutions.
- Maintain and enhance data models, ontology layers, and operational dashboards.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across Palantir solutions.
- Utilize Palantir modules such as Contour, Quiver, and Vertex for application development.
- Participate in code repository management, pipeline building, and debugging processes.
- Stay current with Palantir Foundry platform updates, features, and best practices.
- Work effectively within the 02:00 PM – 11:30 PM IST schedule to support global operations.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Spark, and Hadoop.
- Experience in TypeScript for data application development.
- Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools such as:
- Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, QlikSense
- Cognos Analytics, MicroStrategy, SAP Business Objects
- MS Excel and MySQL
- Familiarity with Palantir Foundry modules (Contour, Quiver, Vertex, AIP, Ontology, Pipeline Builder).
- Understanding of data governance, data modeling, and workflow optimization.
