Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced SQL Data Engineer to support a data integration and reporting project that consolidates data from multiple sources into centralized SQL databases. The role is hands-on and critical to ensuring data accuracy, performance, and availability for business reporting and decision-making The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL Server development, administration, ETL processes, and performance tuning, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and data providers.
Project Description
- Collecting data from multiple internal and external sources
- Cleaning and validating data to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Applying business logic for standardized data modeling
- Generating reports that provide actionable insights to support analysis and informed decision-making
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage SQL Server Agent Jobs, ensuring timely execution and consistent performance of: T-SQL scripts, SSIS packages
- Coordinate with internal and external data providers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data feed and integration issues
- Execute complex SQL queries to merge and unify data from multiple providers into a single, consistent data set
- Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to understand concerns, provide updates, and ensure timely resolution of data-related issues
- Design, develop, modify, and optimize: SQL Server databases, Views, Stored procedures, Functions
- Proactively debug SQL-related issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement query and database optimizations
- Ensure data reliability, integrity, and availability for reporting and analytics use cases
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of SQL Server Development experience
- 3–5 years of SQL Server Administration experience
- 4+ years of hands-on ETL experience
- 4+ years of SQL performance tuning and optimization
- Strong expertise in: T-SQL ,SSIS, SQL Server Agent Jobs
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and data providers
Good-to-Have Skills
- Understanding of real estate domain terminology
- Exposure to reporting or analytics tools
