Sr. Recruiter / Recruitment Lead 

Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid / Remote within India)

Salary : 5-15 LPA

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Contract Recruiting Lead to manage end-to-end hiring processes and mentor a small recruiting team. The ideal candidate will partner closely with hiring managers, drive full-cycle recruitment, improve processes/tools, and enhance the overall candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete hiring cycle: intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, debriefs, reference checks, compensation benchmarking, offer negotiation, and pre-onboarding support.
  • Ensure smooth offer creation and closure with strong follow-through.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and expectations.
  • Define interview plans, selection criteria, and hiring strategy.
  • Build strong pipelines using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, iimjobs, Instahyre, referrals, and relevant talent communities.
  • Maintain iCIMS ATS hygiene (data accuracy, status updates, notes).
  • Standardize templates, SLAs, workflows, and generate recruitment dashboards or reports.
  • Ensure adherence to India recruitment norms, documentation standards, and data privacy compliance.
  • Coordinate background verification (BGV) and reference checks.
  • Support contractor onboarding and collaborate with HR when needed.
  • Mentor junior recruiters and coordinators.
  • Review pipelines, allocate workloads, set goals, and deliver weekly hiring reports.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3–5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in India.
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring recruiters is preferred.
  • Strong track record in offer closure and stakeholder partnership.

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with ATS tools (preferably iCIMS).
  • Expertise in sourcing platforms and recruitment tools.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills for reporting and analytics.

Core Skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
  • Strong judgment, prioritization, and bias for action.
  • Good understanding of India-specific recruitment processes and documentation.
