Job Description

SuccessFactors Consultant – CDP/SP

Location: Hyderabad, India

Experience: 1–2 Years

Role/Module: SuccessFactors CDP/SP (Career Development & Succession Planning)

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled SuccessFactors Consultant specializing in CDP/SP to support implementations, enhancements, and functional consulting activities. The role involves understanding HR best practices, conducting requirement workshops, configuring SuccessFactors modules, and supporting integrations and deployments. The consultant should be flexible to travel for short-term project assignments across India or overseas (Middle East, Africa).

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to understand current-state HR processes and design optimized future-state processes aligned with SuccessFactors.
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements for implementation in the CDP/SP module.
  • Configure and support SuccessFactors CDP/SP along with related modules; provide functional and technical support for system integrations.
  • Participate in sales and presales activities as needed, including solution demos and proposal support.
  • Conduct unit testing, support UAT, troubleshoot configuration issues, and ensure successful deployment.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to junior consultants and end users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integrations, payroll alignments, and role/authorization requirements.
  • Prepare project documentation including BRDs, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and release notes.
  • Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, data integrity standards, and governance processes.
  • Travel to client locations for project engagements (1 month per assignment; frequent travel possible).

Required Experience

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors implementations, with at least one full lifecycle implementation.
  • Strong understanding of PA, OM, Payroll, Time Management, and Role Authorization concepts.
  • Hands-on configuration experience in SuccessFactors CDP/SP; additional module experience is an advantage.
  • Exposure to cloud-based SAP projects and payroll integrations.
  • Valid SuccessFactors CDP/SP certification (mandatory); additional certifications preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong HR process understanding and appreciation of HCM best practices.
  • Good working knowledge of system development, testing, and IT services.
  • Broad understanding of SAP HCM and SuccessFactors architecture.
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, manage tasks independently, and handle client interactions confidently.
  • Knowledge of system integration concepts and administrative processes.
