Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SuccessFactors Senior Consultant – Employee Central to lead functional consulting, implementation, and support activities across diverse client engagements. The role involves mapping HR best practices, defining future-state processes, gathering and documenting detailed business requirements, and delivering high-quality EC configurations. The consultant will also support integrations, participate in presales cycles, and mentor junior team members. The position requires flexibility to travel for short-term assignments across India and overseas (Middle East, Africa), typically for durations of up to one month.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with client stakeholders to analyze current HR processes and design optimized future-state processes aligned with SuccessFactors best practices.
- Perform end-to-end configuration, testing, and deployment of SuccessFactors Employee Central and support adjacent modules.
- Provide functional and technical support on integrations, payroll connectivity, security/roles, and downstream impacts.
- Lead and contribute to sales/presales activities, including solution scoping, effort estimations, and product demonstrations.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including configuration workbooks, test scripts, SOPs, and release documents.
- Train and mentor junior consultants; provide knowledge transfer to client teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and integration partners to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery.
- Travel for domestic or international project engagements as needed.
Required Experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in SuccessFactors implementations, including at least one year in cloud-based SAP projects and payroll integrations.
- Strong functional understanding of PA, OM, Payroll, Time & Attendance and Role Authorization concepts.
- Minimum 1+ year of configuration experience in SuccessFactors Employee Central; exposure to additional modules is a plus.
- Experience with 3+ full lifecycle SuccessFactors implementations (mandatory).
- Valid SuccessFactors EC Certification; additional module certifications preferred.
- 2–3 years total HCM domain experience (SAP HCM, other ERP HCM, or HR domain).
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong command of HR best practices and HCM process expertise.
- Solid understanding of IT services, system development lifecycle, and testing methodologies.
- Broad technical appreciation of SAP functional architecture and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of system integration, data flows, and administration processes.
- Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and client-facing.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, manage priorities independently, and handle multi-vendor environments.
