Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of supply chain processes and logistics, and will play a key role in managing the efficient flow of goods, services, and information. The position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth functioning of the supply chain and contribute to the achievement of business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Management: Oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
- Order Management: Ensure timely and accurate order processing, from order creation to delivery.
- Supplier Coordination: Work closely with suppliers to ensure product availability, resolve issues, and track deliveries.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to meet operational demands, and minimize overstock or stockouts.
- Logistics Management: Coordinate transportation and logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain data to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical, Industrial, or Supply Chain Engineering or related fields.
- Experience: 1-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, logistics, or a related field.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and implement improvements to supply chain operations.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent ability to identify issues and provide practical solutions quickly and efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in managing orders, inventory, and logistics operations.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar tools) is a plus.
- Experience with Lean principles or other efficiency-boosting methodologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of global supply chain practices and import/export regulations.
