About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Support Executive – Google Cloud professional with a strong background in cloud infrastructure architecture, DevOps, and automation. The role involves managing, optimizing, and securing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments while driving operational excellence and efficiency across projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure Management
- Manage and maintain cloud services such as Compute Engine, Storage, Networking, IAM, and Kubernetes Engine.
- Configure and optimize resources for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
2. Deployment and Automation
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Ansible.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of GCP resources.
3. Security and Compliance
- Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Manage IAM policies, encryption, logging, and network security configurations.
4. Monitoring and Troubleshooting
- Set up and manage monitoring, alerting, and performance tracking systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues proactively.
5. Containerization and Orchestration
- Manage and deploy containerized applications using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Work with Docker and microservices for scalable cloud deployments.
Technical Skills & Competencies
Mandatory Skills:
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – Infra Solutioning & Architecture
- Terraform – IaC Development and Automation
- Kubernetes / GKE
- Python, Shell Scripting
- DevOps Tools: Git, Jenkins, Docker
Preferred Expertise:
- Experience with Migration Architecture and Cloud Security
- Knowledge of networking, IAM, and compliance principles
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and troubleshooting skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical field
- Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on experience in GCP Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps
