Role Overview

We are looking for a Custom Software Engineering Team Lead – Azure OpenAI to lead the design and delivery of AI-powered, cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service. This role combines technical leadership, solution design, and hands-on development, with a strong focus on scalable architectures and enterprise-grade AI solutions. You will act as the primary technical point of contact, guiding teams to deliver high-quality applications while integrating Generative AI capabilities into modern software systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of custom software solutions
  • Act as SME for Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service
  • Architect and build scalable, cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure
  • Integrate Generative AI solutions using Azure OpenAI models
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements
  • Guide teams through application architecture, development, and deployment
  • Make key technical and delivery decisions across multiple teams
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines
  • Drive agile delivery and ensure projects are delivered on time and with quality

Mandatory Skills

  • Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts (Azure)
  • Experience designing and developing scalable enterprise applications

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines
  • Microservices architecture and API-based integrations
  • Application design patterns and cloud-native best practices
  • Experience with modern development frameworks
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
